Today is Sunday and I am up at the Sizzix UK blog with a sweet layout to share.

The link below will take you to the special place where all will be revealed :-)
Here is a sneak of my page.

The people in the  beautiful photo is my sister and one of our youngest nephews who lives in Denmark. So we do not get to see him or his family very often.

I am sending this page to my sister in Norway so it can sit on a shelf in her scrap-room :-)

Painting Easter eggs

Hi friends!
Today I want to share a page I made a little while back for the PaperHaus Magazine. Normally we have to wait before sharing what is included in the magazine, but as it will no longer be published it is ok
to show my page now :-)

Hei mine venner!

I wanted to scrap a couple of photos that I have been saving for some time. They were taken a few years back when all the family members at our house painted some eggs and we had  great fun.

I used mostly Papirdesign decorations as well apart from the beautiful papers.
I am so lucky to be playing with such awesome products!!

I also picked out some cheese cloth and I frayed the edges so I was left with a lot of loose threads. I used this as a decoration around my photos.

That Easter paper with those little eggs s utterly adorable! :-)

Papirdesign produkter som er brukt her:
Papir: God Påske: Påskeegg/ Mot Vår / Julehilsen: Julebakst / Forventning; En Ny Vår /
Sommerfugl i solskinn
Mini roser, cherry blossoms, alfabet (gule), chipboard ovals (hvite), dotter (oransje)
halvperler, hvite kakeservietter

HAVE A  LOVELY DAY!! :-)

'Life Made Simple' Sunday post.

Hi there friends!
So happy to see you here even though the posts are a little far apart,.... I am hoping to be able to post more often now that I have finished some chores that has to be done and I'll hopefully have some more 'me-time'.

 Bente's Sunday post for Sizzix.

This is of course just a little sneak. Please visit the Sizzix UK blog for the full reveal of my cards :-)

Today I would like to tell you about some new cool dies from Sizzix that came to shops in April.
If they are not already at a store near you they will be soon. They are called 'Life Made Simple' and are perfect for the pocket scrapbookers, but also for the rest of us who can use them as embellishments or for making cute cards.

There are several sets to choose from, but here are two of my favourites:
This is the Basic set consisting of 8 pieces.
And this one is called Smile for the camera.

If you want to see the cards I made just follow this LINK!

Hi friends.

I know I don't have much time to scrap at the moment but I am trying to use the moments I have as best I can. I finished the weekly page for Sizzix UK and here is a small sneak.

Inkido share; 'Love this'.

I made this page as a contributor for PaperHaus Magazine April/Spring issue, but as there will be no more magazines I am allowed to share it already. I used some beautiful Inkido products for it.

I cut out a frame from one of the 'Beautiful Memories' papers and layered it on top of the sheet of  print paper.I added gesso and then some yellow Tattered Angels glimmer mist. I love the yellow drips!

I did a lot of stitching and added some torn cheese cloth to give the layout more texture. I layered some pretty pink and white doilies with corrugated tags from PapercraftScandinavia and those lovely mini roses are just the perfect finishing touch to my page. I used my Cameo to make the title from just ordinary patterned paper.

Inkido products used:
Beautiful Memories (Beautiful Pink, Butterflies borders),
Tuva (Purple Orchid),
Cartas de Amor (Royal Red)
mini roses, cherry blossoms,
corrugated tags

Papirdesign products:
Doilies,
mini roses
letter stickers

Hugs!! :-)

Thursday 3 April 2014

Woo hoo, I am thrilled to tell you of a new design opportunity for me!!

Can you believe it!...? I am a creative blogger for Sizzix!!

A few weeks ago I was at a birthdayparty when half way through the evening I decided to check my email notifications. I was a little surprised to see there was a comment on my blog from someone signing with 'Sizzix'. I was actually thinking someone had picked that as their nick because they love diecutting and not thinking it could be 'them'....I went to the blog and read the comment almost not believeing what it said. I had to ask my DD if she read the same as I did,..and she did. I googled and did all kinds of things to verify that this was genuine. LOL! I was dumbfounded Sizzix UK would be asking me to join the team without even having to apply. The day after I sent off a reply and only when I got an answer back was I convinced someone was not pulling my leg :-)

I think it is probably ok to share the message since it was actually posted publicly on my blog :-)

I am waiting for my DT parcel to arrive, but in the meantime as an ' illustration ' for this post I'm sharing a couple of close ups of recent pages that I think have Sizzix dies on them.

is a link if you want to go check out the Sizzix UK blog
I really hope you will be back on Sunday mid-day when I'll be sharing my very first post there!

Hugs!!
